Pat Dorsey,  is the founder of Dorsey Asset Management. Prior to starting Dorsey Asset, Pat was Director of Research for Sanibel Captiva Trust, an independent trust company serving high net worth clients.

From 2000 to 2011, Pat was Director of Equity Research for Morningstar, where he led the growth of Morningstar’s equity research group from 20 to 90 analysts. 

He is a CFA charterholder.

Robert Jackson is Dorsey Asset Management’s Director of Research, and brings over 12 years of investment research and 19 years of small business experience.

Prior to joining DAM, Robert founded RWJ Research to provide buy-side research consulting with an emphasis on shorting. Some of these projects resulted in activist publications.. Robert holds a B.S. degree in biology from The University of the South.

Ben Hansen is a Research Analyst for Dorsey Asset Management. and brings over 16 years of investment research experience.

Prior to joining DAM, Ben served as an Analyst for Masterton Capital Management, LP and for Two Creeks Capital Management, LP. Ben holds an M.B.A with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University.

Kevin Ren  is a Research Analyst for Dorsey Asset Management.

Prior to joining DAM, Kevin served as an Equity Research Analyst for Dodge & Cox and previously worked as an Intern for Dorsey Asset Management. Kevin holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
